A couple of fun things from the website...
the designer: Jessica Rey has a diverse work background- from accounting to acting and modeling to the launch of her very own swimsuit line "Rey." The idea for her suits came about when she started to feel half-naked wearing a bikini and then it hit her- she WAS half-naked! Shopping for something that would cover up more than a tiny bikini and didn't make her look like a dork, she felt hopeless. Then one day, she made lemonade out of those lemons... she looked back in history to a time when women valued their bodies and dressed like it and decided to design her own suit... one that isn't low-cut, isn't too short, and has good support...and Rey Swimwear was born... Most of the suits are tankinis (with the exception of one swimdress) and the bottoms are mix-and-match, so each girl can create her own individual style. *to learn more about jessica, visit www.jessicarey.com*
the inspiration: Audrey Hepburn was a woman whose classic style has transcended time and continues to influence fashion today. She lived during an era when women dressed and acted like ladies- when women didn't feel they had to "bare it all" to be attractive. Rey Swimwear's collection is named "Audrey" because we hope to capture her sense of style, grace, class, and of course, fun. Each style this season is named after one of her most loved characters- Holly, Jo, Eliza, Sabrina, and Gaby.
